NGC 7662 - The Blue Snowball

NGC 7662 is one of the less well-known planetary nebulae in our galaxy. It can be found in the constellation of Andromeda but to see it you need to be observing from dark skies through a telescope equipped with a nebula filter.
NGC 7662 is about 5000 ly away and gets its nickname of the Blue Snowball from the blueish region of gas near the centre of the nebula. It is listed as being of magnitude 9.00
