Commodore Plus/4 Elite Information

The Commodore Plus/4 home computer hit the shelves in 1984 but was withdrawn a year later after poor sales. An official version of Elite was never released for this machine, but versions became available in 1988 and 1994, the later version being hacked from the C64 program.

Given the similarity between the Commodore machines, it is unsurprising that Plus/4 Elite bears a close resemblence to the version for the Commodore 64.

Playing Plus/4 Elite on your PC

1. Download a Plus/4 Emulator, such as Yape
2. Download the game from Ian Bell's Elite Page
3. Run Yape and from the File Menu select "Autostart image"
4. Load the prg file you just downloaded.
