This 16-bit version of Elite was released by Firebird in 1988. It is visually very similar to the Amiga version and has similar capabilities. There is the full set of Elite ships and some scripted missions as well. For some reason, lasers fire bullets rather than continuous beams and combat is generally not as advanced as in other 16-bit versions. | |
